March 14th is Pi Day! Pi (3.1415926…) is the name given to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. In honor of Pi Day, Howard letterpress printed “3.14” (pi) in 20 line pica wood type in the French Clarendon typeface. October 5th is World Teachers’ Day! Our education team is working hard to present in-person school programs to classes that can visit and also bring the museum to the classroom through virtual field trips and outreach programs.
