But over on Reddit, one fan has urged calm for one very particular reason. "Something you have to keep in mind when wondering why GTA 6 is taking so long," one fan posted in the r/GTA6 subreddit. This was alongside trivia relating to one of Rockstar's previous creations, Red Dead Redemption 2.

The only official content we've had from Rockstar Games itself so far is the first, and so far only, trailer for GTA 6 in December 2023 and there has not been any update from the studio about it since.

GTA 6 is slated for this year, and while PC fans get a free upgrade of GTA 5 in the coming weeks, some are worried Rockstar is trying to placate those playing on the platform
