Arrakis calls: Dune: Awakening will be released on May 20, 2025, on PC. The survival-crafting MMO from Funcom allows players to dive into an open world version of the infamous desert planet, where they will have to fight other adventurers just as much as the environment itself.

Watch the Dune Awakening release date reveal trailer for the open-world survival MMO developed by Funcom. Players will do any and all things Dune-related from taming a Sandworm, building a fortress, and mastering the power that lies within the planet of Arrakis for the taking.

Awakening will launch on Steam on May 20, but the Character Creator & Benchmark Mode are available today. You can download these tools and spend as much time as you like tweaking your player character to look like Zendaya or Timothy Chalamet so that you can actually start playing when the game releases instead of spending six hours in the character menu.
