Pavelski played over 1,500 NHL regular-season and playoff games with the San Jose Sharks and Stars since making his debut in the league in 2006. He was the NHL postseason’s leading goal-scorer nine years ago, tied for the most games played in the 2020 playoff bubble and is one of the most admired forwards of his generation.

Pavelski won at Edgewood Tahoe, closing with an eagle to beat former pitcher John Smoltz by nine points in a wire-to-wire victory in the celebrity event.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi had also tuned in to watch the American Century Championship this weekend and was quick to celebrate Joe Pavelski’s victory. Shortly after the win, Domi posted a clip filmed from his TV showing Pavelski’s winning moment.
