They will be aboard the New Shepard, the centerpiece rocket of Blue Origin’s space tourism business, in a launch this spring.

Blue Origin New Shepard’s next flight will be all-female with Katy Perry, Gayle King and Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sánchez among the six passengers.

Blue Origin will have an all-female crew that’s traveling into space from the company’s launch site in West Texas. Katy Perry joins a crew that includes Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn, who are launching into space aboard Blue Origin's New Shephard rocket, NS-31.

Katy Perry is going to space. The award-winning "E.T." and "Firework" singer will fly on a firework of her own when she joins the first all-female crew to launch on a Blue Origin New Shepard rocket later this year.

"The NS-31 mission is historic as it marks the first crewed space mission composed entirely of women since Valentina Tereshkova's solo flight in 1963."
