Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal moved Delhi High Court on Monday, challenging the criminal complaints filed by Enforcement Directorate (ED) against him for skipping its summonses in a case related to an alleged scam in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi excise policy of 2021-22.

The Enforcement Directorate had filed a case against Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly disobeying the summons issued by the agency in the Delhi excise policy case

Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri directed the ED to respond to Kejriwal’s plea, which also challenged the trial court’s decision to take cognizance of the ED’s complaints. The court instructed the ED’s counsel to file reply,
