The second recall involves 128,889 Ford Bronco SUVs from the 2022-23 model years. The camera in those vehicles may display either a rear camera blue image or a full blue or black image on the SYNC screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse, or when the 360-degree view is selected.

Ford has issued a recall for a popular SUV model. The company is currently recalling 128,889 Ford Broncos because of rearview camera issues that could increase the risk of a crash while reversing, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

According to the website for Transport Canada, certain vehicles equipped with a 360-degree camera may have a software problem which could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the infotainment display screen. Given that backup cams have been a federally mandated feature for some spell, this is a problem.
