The Caesars Superdome in New Orleans will host WrestleMania 42 next year, WWE announced Friday night. The two-day event will be held April 11-12, 2026 at the stadium that just hosted the Super Bowl. The Superdome has hosted WrestleMania twice before; WrestleMania 30 was held there in 2014 and WrestleMania returned to the stadium in 2018.

WrestleMania 42 is coming to New Orleans next year. Movie star and wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, in town to make an appearance on WWE's Smackdown underway at the Smoothie King Center, made the announcement from center ring before a roaring crowd Friday night.

The Rock revealed New Orleans as the host of 2026's WWE WrestleMania 42 on SmackDown. The Rock appeared on Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown to confront reigning champ and top babyface Cody Rhodes, but he had another mission: Announce that WrestleMania 42 is coming to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2026.

In addition to the two-night stadium event in 2026, WWE will bring Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World and the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony to New Orleans as well as a variety of community outreach events.
