Demonstrators have gathered outside Tesla stores across the U.S. to protest the automaker’s billionaire leader, Elon Musk.
Around 300 demonstrators swarmed around a Tesla showroom in the Meatpacking District to protest Elon Musk’s being handed control, through DOGE, over federal government spending and personnel.
A Tesla store in New York City has been taken over by people protesting Elon Musk – disrupting the operations. As we have reported over the last few weeks, there’s a growing movement called “Tesla Takedown,” under which grassroots protests are being organized at Tesla stores around the world.
Anti-Elon Musk protestors held a demonstration outside a Tesla dealership in Lower Manhattan, New York City, on March 1. Videos on social media showed protesters chanting, "Zelenskyy is a hero" and "nobody voted for Musk.

Tesla is planning to install dozens of Supercharger sites at Steak ‘n Shake locations across the country, according to an exchange between the companies on X. The companies have signed an agreement for over six sites, with over 20 more to come. And if Steak ‘n Shake gets its way, possibly 100 restaurants will see future Supercharger installations.

A Tesla engineer and manager was fired from the company after calling out Elon Musk for his “Nazi joke” on X, reported New York Times (NYT). The layoff came after the employee shared a LinkedIn post criticising the tech billionaire for referencing Nazi leaders in a pun-filled post he shared on X.
