After much trade speculation, Matthew Stafford is staying in Los Angeles. The Rams announced Friday that Stafford is returning to the team. The two sides are working on a new deal. Stafford’s name has been embroiled in trade rumors this offseason that attached him to the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Giants.

NFL insider Ryan McFadden named Raiders QB Gardner Minshew as one player who could be cut during the 2025 NFL season.
The Las Vegas Raiders have to make some difficult decisions this offseason if they want to build their organization back into the winner that it once was. That's why owner Mark Davis hired longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneers' executive John Spytek to be the team's next general manager.
Minshew inked a two-year, $25MM deal with the Raiders last offseason, and the organization is still on the hook for some guaranteed money for the 2025 campaign. That contract does contain an out, but it would only provide the Raiders with about $3MM in relief while leaving close to $11MM in dead cap.

He was one of the worst quarterbacks in 2024 and led the league with 10 interceptions prior to getting injured and placed on Injured Reserve.
