A thunderstorm weather warning has been issued for the south-east of England. The yellow weather warning, covering Kent, Sussex and Surrey, begins at 11:00 BST on Monday and will run until 21:00. The Met Office issued the warning, saying a few places "could see 30 to 50mm of rain within a couple of hours" in the afternoon and early evening.

On Saturday at 5:19 p.m. the NWS Blacksburg VA issued a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Caswell and Rockingham counties.

On Saturday at 2:36 p.m. the NWS Raleigh NC issued a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 3:15 p.m. for Durham and Granville counties.
