Though the Lakers lost to the Clippers on July 14, James was one of the few bright spots as he logged a complete game: 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers. Additionally, he notably averaged 16.3 ppg, 4.3 apg and 2.6 rpg over a three-game stretch, able to get teammates involved and spark runs throughout.

Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley recently broke down his picks for the NBA's first and second teams for summer league in Las Vegas, where Filipowski's three performances landed him a spot on "B/R's All-2025 NBA Summer League 1st Team."

Zakai Zeigler also started and played 12 minutes for the Pistons. He totaled six points, five steals and one assist. Zeigler converted 1-of-3 field goal attempts, 1-of-3 three-point attempts and 3-of-4 free throw attempts. He signed with Detroit as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NBA draft.

The Celtics are wrapping up Summer League in Las Vegas after a mixed bag of performances from a host of NBA talent. Boston has been quiet so far with any additional moves thus far since their original free agency deals but the roster is worth keeping an eye on as the dust settles.

League isn’t just about internal evaluation. It’s a job fair in fast breaks and iso reps. Everyone’s résumé is live. In Vegas, the chase never really ends. But if Saturday was a finale, at least a few players made sure to leave an encore.

The winner advances to Sunday's championship game against either Toronto or Sacramento as rookies and young players continue to showcase their talents.
