Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was sentenced to five years probation and 30 days of jail time on Thursday following a multi-car crash last year, according to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said the team will "progress as normal" regarding its wide receiver group following the news of Rashee Rice's plea deal this week.
Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation in exchange for a guilty plea, according to ESPN. Rice could still face a suspension from the NFL.
The star receiver, now entering his third NFL season, also received five years’ probation for the 2024 car crash.
