CALIFORNIA REDISTRICTING: The Supreme Court allowed California to use a new congressional map that voters approved last November. The map, drawn by Democratic lawmakers, gives the Democratic Party an opportunity to pick up as many as five House seats amid a nationwide redistricting push.
