After a fresh wave of tariffs from the United States, Canada and the European Union said they would impose billions in levies on U.S. goods.

While Trump’s tariffs could help steel and aluminum plants in the U.S., they could raise prices for the manufacturers that use the metals as raw materials.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday railed against what he called tremendously high Canadian tariffs on dairy and lumber, and said his administration could soon impose reciprocal tariffs on Canadian products.
