NFL Network reports the New Orleans Saints are set to decide on Derek Carr’s future. But cutting him won’t be easy, and he has a lot of leverage in trade talks:

Rumors have been swirling that New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr could be traded or cut this offseason, but NFL insider Adam Schefter said Carr "will probably be the team's QB1 entering 2025." Carr has $10 million in contract guarantees with another $30 million scheduled to kick in on

Derek Carr future with the New Orleans Saints is up in the air and should be decided soon. He isn't willing to take a pay cut and there's a good chance he would opt to not waive his no-trade clause unless a great situation arises.
