Ja Morant recorded 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists to help the Memphis Grizzlies post a 119-112 victory over the host Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.

Things simply have not gone the Phoenix Suns' way to begin the 2024-25 season. It feels like an eternity ago when the Suns began the year with a 9-2 record, blazing out of the gates and finally appeared to make good on their potential with their star trio and strong supporting cast to boot.

Kevin Durant may say that he is committed to winning with the Phoenix Suns, but the Suns don’t look like they’re going anywhere fast. Heading into the All-Star break, they have a 26-28 record, which simply won’t cut it in the loaded Western Conference.
