SEPTA officials are sounding the alarm for a major event just weeks away: the Philadelphia Eagles' first home game on Sept. 4.

Defensive end Jereme Robinson became the 16th player from an Alabama high school or college on the Eagles, the most in the NFL. An alumnus of Carver High School in Montgomery, Robinson joins Philadelphia after being waived by the New England Patriots on Tuesday.

John Metchie III made his preseason debut with the Eagles, getting his first reception in the first quarter against the Jets on Friday.

You guys know he's dealing with a finger,” Sirianni said when asked about McKee's status for Week 1. “He's working to get back. We'll see where he is. ”
