Oprah, who has a reported net worth of $3.2 billion, has reportedly lived part-time in Hawaii since the early 2000s and owns over 2,000 acres of land in Maui, specifically.

Numerous social media posts claimed the media mogul "refused" to open her private road as cars attempted to reach higher ground.

Her spokesperson said the road on Winfrey’s property is owned by Haleakalā Ranch. Winfrey has an easement agreement with the ranch.
