Houston uncorked mayhem in the penultimate game of this year's NCAA Tournament with an amazing comeback Saturday to defeat Duke 70-67 in the Final Four. The Cougars erased a 14-point second-half deficit and closed on a 25-8 run to stun the Blue Devils, tying for the second-largest Final Four comeback in the last decade.
With the Blue Devils leading by one point and 20 seconds left in the second half, Cooper Flagg fouled Cougars forward J'Wan Roberts following a missed free throw. Roberts sunk both of his fouls shots to put Houston up by one, and a jumper from Flagg on Duke's ensuing possession fell short.
For the second straight season, Houston and Duke face off in the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars and Blue Devils will play the late game Saturday in the Final Four at San Antonio. Last season, Duke ended Houston's run with a win in the Sweet 16 round.
