According to multiple reports, the Texans are sending Metchie to the defending Super Bowl champions in exchange for tight end Harrison Bryant and a 2026 fifth-round pick. The Eagles will also receive a 2026 sixth-round pick, which initially was sent over to Houston in the C.J. Gardner-Johnson deal earlier this offseason.
