There are reports of multiple people being swept away by flooding in Virginia as tens of millions of people are at risk of dangerous flash floods in pockets of nearly every region of the contiguous United States Friday,

Even more showers and thunderstorms will develop Tuesday afternoon, bringing a threat of heavy rain and flash flooding. Rain chances lower into the end of the week as temperatures heat up. It’s a stormy start to the week across parts of New Mexico.
