Beleaguered Avelo Airlines will close its West Coast operation and exit 10 cities by December as it struggles financially.

Avelo Airlines will end service in Oregon’s capital after residents called for city officials to terminate their contract with the company.

“Our West Coast closure has no effect on our Connecticut service or operations,” said Courtney Goff, Communications Manager for Avelo Airlines.
