I did not see any elevators. We walked up stairs outside to enter the monument. We also walked up a narrow spiral stairway to get an area to. Jew the monument from the top. The path from where we parked was not easy to navigate either. I would try to contact them to see if there is an easy way to at least get into the main part of the monument. It is a very old structure so it might not be possible. I hope there is a way for you and your mom to see it, it is well worth it as well as the entire cemetery. Good luck

The view is beautiful from the steps of the monument. The whole cemetery is a quiet oasis in the city...beautiful plantings, views and the gravesites of famous people (John D. Rockefeller, Cushing, Elliot Ness) are marked.Stop at the bottom of the hill to visit Little Italy or tour the campus of Case Western Reserve University with it's Frank Gehry designed building - also seen from the steps of the monument.

It will also ensure that you see some of the more interesting parts and will provide a lot of info that the adults will find interesting. I just need to figure out how to get it to you!
